The Living End are off to New Jersey to record their new album with producer John Agnello. Agnello is best known for his work with Sonic Youth and Dinosaur Jr. The Living End will start work on the record shortly at Water Music Studios in Hoboken. The studio has been home to recordings by U2, Ryan Adams and the Lemonheads.
'After quite a long period of writing/demoing we are keen as hell to get in the studio and make the best record of our career," says TLE's Chris Cheney in a statement. "We are more excited about the new material than any time before in The Living End's history".
The album also marks a label change for the band. The yet-to-be named record will be released on Dew Process through Universal, marking the end of a 10 year stint with EMI.
The sessions will be fast and furious. The new Living End album is scheduled for release in mid-July.
